 I started stamping and scrapbooking in 1995.   I started my blog in 2012 so I could join challenges.  Over the years I have been on different design teams and I am still on a few.  Unfortunately I can no longer make handmade cards due to my bad hands and bad eyes.   I suffer from Fibromyalgia and bad Osteoarthritis everywhere, Macular Degeneration and glaucoma.  I can’t see to colour any more so I make digital cards with precoloured digi stamps and papers.

I have two daughters, four granddaughters and one great grandson.  My granddaughters and all their friends call me Granmargaret.  My eldest granddaughter and my great grandson live with me and my husband in Sydney, Australia.  Thank you to Becca for having me as guest designer this month.

Anni Albers once said, 'Art is something that makes you breathe with a different kind of happiness'. Her quote completely resonates with me; as art has brought much happiness to my life! I found my love of creating art around Twenty Five years ago, first starting with creating scrapbook layouts and then for the last Twenty years working with mixed media,collage and now digital art. FQGS #9 AFCG theme starts 7 October 2023

Welcome to the country store!

FarmQuest General Store Challenge Blog is announcing its 9th challenge competition! 

Please drop off your AFCG theme projects between October 7-November 5, 2023 by 12:00am CST or 6am UK for some time references.

AFCG stands for anything farm or country goes theme. A huge range of topics are possible: woods/forest, farm/ranch, mountains, meadows, orchards, produce stands, camping, fishing, boating on a lake or creek, frogs, mushrooms, wildlife, hiking, and much more.

Bragging rights for Top Shelf recognition are waiting. 

If entries are at 25 or +, there will be a Blue Ribbon Winner selected. This craft artisan will not only have bragging rights but have an invite to be GD for the following month's reminder post.
