March 7- April 5, 2025 is competition #38. 

Theme is always Anything Farm and/or Country Goes. 

Think about rural/remote outdoor kinds of settings and activities: mountains and hills, campgrounds, farms/ranches, petting zoos, farmers markets/roadside produce sales, forest animals, ponds, hayrides, tractor rides, meadows, raking leaves, building a snowman, etc.

a bit about her: Hello, my name is Zowie Dixon.

Anni Albers once said, 'Art is something that makes you breathe with a different kind of happiness'. Her quote completely resonates with me; as art has brought much happiness to my life! I found my love of creating art around Twenty Five years ago, first starting with creating scrapbook layouts and then for the last Twenty years working with mixed media,collage and now digital art. I also love vintage and shabby chic styles of crafting. I believe that art is for everyone and I aim to spread happiness and positivity in my creations, encouraging others to believe in themselves. Art has instilled confidence in me to try out many things in life including photography. Whatever work I create, I put my heart and soul into. In most of my designs you will see a positive quote that encourages one to believe in oneself. I also like to combine beautiful elements that stand out and give meaning to what I create. Thank you to Becca for inviting me to be this month's Guest Designer.

FQGS #5 challenge June 2023 announcement for Top Shelf Picks

  Top Shelf Picks Announcement for FQGS Theme #5

 Whoa! Theme #5 for FarmQuest General Store challenge blog is no longer accepting deliveries of crafted projects! :)

At 1:00am CT/Chicago or 7 am UK times on July 5, FQGS closed for business for challenge #5. We are excited to be having good participation for being a new challenge blog. Please help us grow! Let your craft blogging friends know about this fun blog!

Theme #1 had 10 entries!! #2 had 27. #3 had 16 entries. #4 had 18 entries! #5 had 19 entries!

There was a great group of projects of cards and art journals, and scrapbook formats. Topics ranged from farm and forest animals, flowers, fruits, birds, fencing, kitchen tools, mushrooms, hunting, and more! I'm loving the variety and glad our FQGS participants are embracing the broadness of country/rural topics we want to see!

Thank you to all the wonderfully talented artisans who took time to create and deliver projects to the store!
